After NKorea has made his own nuclear test, and has received so mild sanctions, Ahmadenijad has continued with his rantings against Israel. After stating he is in touch with God, while Bush is in touch with the Devil, he declared that:

Since God Said That the Infidels Will Have No Way to Harm the Believers’; ‘We Have [Only] One Step Remaining Before We Attain the Summit of Nuclear Technology’; The West ‘Will Not Dare To Attack Us’. (tip Pamela)

And after saying that, he continued with his anti-Israeli rantings:

“The Zionist regime is counterfeit and illegitimate and cannot survive,” he said in a speech to a crowd in the town of Islamshahr in southwestern Tehran.

Also he explained that they will not back down “even an inch” on its rights to nuclear peaceful energy and declared illegitimate the UN rulings against Iranian peaceful plan. Also thousands have marched today in Teheran chanting “Death to Israel”.Of course, Mullah’s Iran has right to exist. He has also menaced all Israel’s neighbours.

“We have advised the Europeans that the Americans are far away, but you are the neighbours of the nations in this region,” Mr Ahmadinejad said.

“We inform you that the nations are like an ocean that is welling up, and if a storm begins, the dimensions will not stay limited to Palestine, and you may get hurt.”

And also:

Mr Ahmadinejad said: “Even if we assume the Holocaust is true, then why should the Palestinians pay the price for it.”

He said millions of Israelis should go back to their countries of origin.

Mr Ahmadinejad said Lebanese Hezbollah militants had shattered the myth of Israel’s military power, so that “Zionists” in their homes in various corners of the world, could not now enjoy security.

But the peaceful nature is nor very well supported when a report says that Iran paid Hamas $50 millions not to free Gilat Shalid, the Israeli soldier who was kidnapped in Gaza last June. So:

If the report is true, it would be another sign of Tehran’s growing influence over Hamas. Although the Iranian leadership is Shiite Muslim and Hamas is Sunni Muslim, they share the common goal of destroying Israel.

Iran has also developed a missile called Zelzad 1. Its namesake  is a Koranic verse that tells of a conflagration which precipitates Judgment Day. The missile is emblazoned with the slogan: “We will trample America under our feet. Death to America.”

Olmert has warned Iran against the consequences of their intransigence. But he has not directly menaced the Iranian regime as Israel did with Iraqi Oshirak and Saddam Hussein.

So, if no one opposes Ahmadinejad, why on earth is he going to stop?

There is a revolution going on in Iran: blogging, even when a lot of bloggers have been fined or are awaiting criminal processses, has taken the lead to change society. People of both sexes could speak about their own views of nearly everything and has meant even back from 2003, a way to wear off the masks every Iranian wears in public because of the censorship and menaces to people opposed to the regime. So important is this process even nowadays that the Iranian Government has cut Internet speeds at homes and at cafés.

Lastly, Hossein Yadegary, an Iranian convert from Islam to Christianity -baptised as Thomas-, now in New Zealand has seen dismissed his appeal to the Refugee Status and could face deportation to Iran. Prominent members of he Catholic Church are helping him in this matter. New Zealand’s Government has accepted the Iranian Officials’ assurance that Yadegary will be safe in Iran and has claimed that the risk he would face in the case of returning to Iran does not grant a refugee status. Gay Iranians, at the same time, will be granted safe asylum in the Netherlands (tip: Free Thoughts).

Muerte a América”.
